Acrylic Polymers (Traditional Finish)
Molecular Structure: Large, irregular polymer chains that form a layer on the surface of the floor. These polymers are bulky, loosely connected and create a thicker but less uniform coating.
Properties:
Surface Coating: Forms a soft film on the floor that is prone to wear, scratches, and yellowing over time.
Periodic Stripping Required: Acrylic finishes degrade with traffic and exposure, necessitating regular stripping and multiple recoats to maintain appearance and protection.

Larger acrylic molecular structure means less long-term adhesion stability. That leads to the need for stripping.
NanoCoat by INNOVARA
Molecular Structure: Nanoscopic periodic table elements, 1/1000th the size of polymers, create an atomic bond with the substrate floor. These incredibly small base element particles integrate with the surface, becoming part of the flooring material.
Properties:
Deep-Level Protection: Penetrates and bonds with the substrate, providing durable, long-lasting protection that resists wear and abrasion.
Eliminates Need for Stripping: Maintains its properties over time, eliminating stripping.

Incredibly small particles provide a uniform, ultra-thin layer that adheres closely to the surface.

Labor Disruption
Nanoscopic coatings are 5x harder than traditional polymer-based finishes. Our covalently bonded coating is harder to penetrate, dirt never enters the coating, and cleanup is easy. No more deep scrubbing, no cracking, peeling or UV dulling. Labor savings start at the 40% range, higher for those areas that strip or deep scrub and recoat more than 1x per year. And NanoCoat never needs to be stripped, ever.
